Yule Log Tea

High quality blend as usual, however I found the taste a little disappointing. I love chocolate blends so was very excited for this one, but I could barely taste anything besides the lime leaves (flavour that I personally did not enjoy at all). My friend however did like it so I gave it to her as I really did not like the smell or taste. I think it is a matter of personal taste, but I really would have enjoyed a more chocolatey, smoother blend.

I love all the chocolate/dessert type B and B teas so was very excited when this came onto the Christmas tea list. It smells amazing in the bag and looked Christmassy with the red of the peppercorns and green lime leaves. The taste however was not for us. There is a hint of chocolate taste but also a background taste possibly from the peppercorns or the lime leaves which was not to our taste. So sad. The quality of the tea was usual high standard but the taste was not for us. Sorry.
