    Say hello to a tea blend with a brand new ingredient never before seen in our blends…Kukicha, or ‘Twig Tea’! Kukicha is the stems & stalks of Sencha tea, which have a very similar flavour profile to traditional Japanese Sencha tea but with a slightly nutty & buttery note.

    Green tea drinkers who enjoy a purer green tea taste will love this take on a traditional Japanese Sencha. Using high-quality, authentic Sencha from Japan, this fresh & simple blend’s delicious & unique flavour speaks for itself. Sencha is traditionally harvested as the first buds of springtime appear, and with its fresh, naturally sweet & grassy taste, this is the perfect blend to welcome the spring season.     How to make a hot tea

      Step 1

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Step 2

      Boil water to 80°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 3 mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      Without milk

    How to cold brew tea

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    Kukicha can be resteeped many times and can also be 'flash brewed'; which means it can be brewed for just 30-45 seconds each time - if you prefer.

    A great brew

    I got really excited when looking at the ingredients for this one and it ended up being just as good. I'll be so sad when this leaves

    The Perfect Spring Treat!

    A surprise favourite! I've never considered myself a fan of green tea, but clearly the few times I've had it in the past it hadn't been brewed properly since this is supposed to taste like more of a traditional green tea. I followed the brewing instructions carefully to give it a fair chance, and really enjoy it. It smells great, looks so pretty, and tastes wonderful.

    I'm still more of a black or white tea drinker at heart, but consider me a convert. :)
