    Tea Mixologist Top Tip

Don't forget to use a splash of cold water (or a fancy kettle!) to ensure your water is around 80°C so you don't burn the delicate green tea leaves - this will ensure it doesn't taste bitter!

    Reviews

    Doesn't taste like it smells.

"I must admit, I was a little disappointed. It tastes more bitter than it smells. Maybe it's the cloves, I don't know for sure. I was expecting a sweet apple pie type of flavour."

    Julie R. (5/5)

    Clove flavour too strong

"I don't like cloves at the best of times, found it overwhelming, so gave it to the friend who introduced my to Bird and Brew"

    Fran W. (1/5)

    fragrant spiced green tea

"I love the warming scent of this tea and the spiced taste. It's perfect on an autumn day."

    Alison (5/5)

    Ankara apple

"This tea has nice apple taste, but I add a little sugar as the chunmee tea is slightly bitter and stronger than my usual sencha ( campfires and vampires)."

    Hazel H. (4/5)

    Delicious

"One of my new favourites. Love Turkish apple tea and this is a great take on it. Not sure if it’s the cloves or cinnamon in it also but it just has a really nice tang to it. Reminds me a lot of the Campfires and Vampires tea which is also a favourite."

    Marie D. (5/5)

    Ankara Turkish Apple Tea

"I haven’t tried this before, but it came recommended by the staff at B&B North Laines in Brighton, when Apple Strudel was out of stock. Gave it a go and it’s become one of my favourites. Smokey Apple in taste, not too tart but just right."

    R O. (5/5)

    Apple-ish

"I wanted to find an apple green tea and this one is good …. but not as apple-y as I’d hoped."

    Tracy M. (4/5)

    Unusual apple tea

"This tea smells great and tastes great! Apple teas are quite hard to find but this for sure ticks the box!"

    Fern (4/5)

Apples and a bit of spice

"One of my favourite teas. An unexpected hit for me. It smelt amazing in the shop so I gave it a whirl, the last minute unintended purchase. It really does smell amazing, apples with spice. It tastes pretty much as it smells. A great afternoon and evening drink."

    Tom (5/5)
