    Our Assam House Blend is a full bodied, strong and flavourful Earl Grey - combining two grades of Assam black tea, which is then scented with bergamot oil. Perfect for those who like a stronger Earl Grey, or a cuppa with a bit of body.

    This blend has been enjoyed for years at Co-Founder Mike's family home, a true B&B classic.

    How to make a hot tea?

    • perfect loose leaf tea spoon

      Step 1

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Step 2

      Boil water to 100°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 2-4 mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      With or without milk

    How to cold brew tea?

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    Pleasant energy boost

    I am a big fan of Earl Grey and found this a particularly strong tea blend which is great for an energy boost. However, the floral bergamot notes were lacking for me which was a little disappointing.

    WOW!

    Oh boy, what a tea, it's incredibly smooth. A great tea for any time of day.

    My tea basket is never going to be without a supply of this House Blend Assam, possibly a new favourite, alongside all my other Bird and Blend favourites.
