    Not really my taste

"I wanted to try this after seeing a lot of people mention this flavour. It’s not for me unfortunately as it’s very very smoky. I do like the apple and caramel but the smokiness overpowers the taste."

    Natalie S. (3/5)

    Smoky little number

"Tried the smoky Russian and was a little too smoky for my taste so was sceptical. The smell of bonfire toffee however was great, so I succumbed. Not disappointed. This is a beautiful tea. Love mine first cup of the day."

    Jacqui F. (5/5)

Smokiness adds depth to any tea

"I was surprised at the depth of the smokiness, initially I found it too smoky so it wasnt a go to - but recently ive been cutting it with other black tea flavours (Notella Strawberry Pancakes and Creme Brulee) and I enjoy the combination flavour. The toffee is too subtle and I cant really detect it, and I enjoy sweet dessert flavours so it combines well with dessert types."

    Esky (4/5)

Gorgeous from the design to the taste

"This is possibly the most inventive tea bird and blend have come out with yet. The bright orange petals mixed in with the black tea make it look like an actual bonfire, and it makes like smoke. The taste is lovely and smokey, but also delightfully sweet. Perfect for anyone who likes a nice and toasty tea. It is absolutely like going to a bonfire, watching the fireworks, and eating a toffee apple. Whichever staff member made this one needs to make more!"

    Abigail (5/5)

    huge smell, subtle flavour

"The smell is fantastic but I think the taste is lacking. If it tasted as good as it smelled it would be superb, a shame."

    Rory (3/5)

This is my absolute favourite 'hot' tea!

"I use loose teas and so regularly mix my own brews (depending on my mood). However Bonfire Toffee is just blended to perfection and inimitable. The only adjustment I ever occasionally make is adding a cheeky dram of toffee apple whiskey liqueur for an autumn/winter 'nightcap'."

    AnnaVW (5/5)

    Bonfire toffee loose leaf tea

"Gorgeous! Warm, vanilla tones and sweet without having any sugar. A lovely combo."

    Kay P. (5/5)

    Lovely autumnal tea

"Lovely sweet tea, great with oat milk! A nice autumnal alternative to pumpkin spice."

    Jennifer P. (5/5)

    Delicious!

"A gorgeous autumnal tea that blends the smokiness of the lapsang with the sweetness of the safflower and apple perfectly. As soon as the leaves start turning brown, get this in your tea rotation asap!!"

    Elise A. (5/5)

    Delicious

"Reminds me of eating toffee apples without the breaking my teeth on them part. It’s now my staple go to everyday tea."

    Maximillian H. (5/5)

    Q&A

Will this tea be back in stock at some point as a loose leaf and with more variety of size? It sounds delicious but it's daunting to spend £40 on 100 tea bags when I've never tried it!
Hello Ella, so sorry about the stock levels - its been a crazy few weeks for us! Keep an eye on the website and as we restock you will see the options reappear. Happy Sipping Andi @ B&B
