    Reviews

    A superb blend

"This is a really nice, smooth black tea with a hint of vanilla and sweetness. It is well balanced and the perfect cup of tea to have with a book on a rainy day. We stumbled across it by accident and what a happy accident that was."

    Abbi R. (5/5)

    Definitely old school!

"On opening the packet, I got a strong whoosh of vanilla. I was worried that was going to be it but on tasting, yes the vanilla is very strong, but there were also base notes and tastes of something resembling either oatmeal or rice pudding! I decided it was probably the latter so in a way it did remind me of learning. Not so much university but 1980s school dinners! Pretty decent but not an all time favourite."

    Matt K. (4/5)

    Smooth and mellow

"A very lovely, smooth, quite mellow black tea with just the right hint of vanilla. I wouldn't quite go so far as to say that it smells anything like books (new or old)."

    Paulina P. (5/5)

    Nice Tea, Subtle Flavour

"Really nice vanilla smell! I found the actual taste of the vanilla very subtle, and I could only get it to come through if I brewed for a shorter time (~3 minutes)."

    Kat (4/5)

    Quite weak, not very vanilly!

"Average tea, quite weak and not very much tasting of vanilla. Would not recommend for the price and promise of stronger taste."

    A H. (3/5)

    Very classy

"This one is great for afternoon tea parties"

    Georgina C. (5/5)

    A chilly success

"Di this as a cold brew overnight and wasn't disappointed by the results. Vanilla more pronounced than it the hot brew, and no bitterness."

    Roy L. (5/5)

    Perfect

"My favourite tea. Perfect blend of vanilla smoothness and classic black tea ."

    Tina (5/5)

    My absolute favourite

"Quick shipping as usual by the incredible team at B&B, this tea is my absolute favourite - I wish they offered it in a bigger size!! The vanilla flavour is perfect and, true to its name, is the perfect companion for reading a book or two. Love love love!"

    Ffi (5/5)

    Lovely brew

"Unlike some of the strongly flavoured blends this one is more subtle, a regular brew with just a hint of flavour. Smells lovely and a good starting point for the budding brew explorer."
