A unique, wintery blend!
"Originally, I thought this blend was too strong? I think? I tried it a while ago. But I think now with age, the tea has mellowed its flavors and it’s possibly more to my liking. It also looks really pretty with all that green and the accents of blue cornflowers and white snowflake sprinkles. The coconut shards also might look like snow, the most like any unmeltable ingredient can look like snow anyway. I also love the idea of pine needles here to give it that earthy, snow falling in a forest element. The spearmint adds a nice frosty cooling element as well. The spearmint is the main flavor here. The coconut isn’t present in the flavor very much, which is fine. I love to see a blend that includes eucalyptus, I just wish it was more noticeable here. The second steep was brewed about eight minutes but the flavor wasn’t overdone. A nice balanced flavor that was very enjoyable. Overall, a decent unique blend that I was happy to try, with multiple elements that say ‘snowy winter’. It brightens winter up a bit, I think, but I guess all my teas do that…. unless it’s a bad tea. Steep #1 // 1 1/2 teaspoons // 10 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steep Steep #2 // just boiled // 8 minute steep"
