"Gentle spice in this blend of tea which is a brilliant way to start the day."
"Having discovered this tea a couple of years ago on a trip back home to LIncoln, I now make a point of buying some every time I go back - and have even had friends bring it over for me (I currently live abroad). I love, love, love this tea, and it's shot to the top of my favourites list - I usually have it before anything else to start my day off with a kick! I am a certifiable chilli lover, born and bred in Lincoln, so how could I not fall in love with this blend? You can absolutely put milk in it as I do if you're not a lover of black tea; and for those saying that the chilli is too much or overpowering, I have found that this absolutely depends on the length of time you leave it to steep - the longer you leave it, the hotter it gets. So if you prefer only a gentle hint of chilli, then take your strainer or tea packet out sooner! 10/10 for me - my only concern is that for some time now there have only been the small pouches available to buy online - I sincerely hope that this isn't a sign that it's being discontinued?! I would really love to buy a big bag of it again as my own supply is running dangerously low. . ."
"Had it, iced with lemonade, had it warm, I just can't like the tea in store or at home. Lincoln would've been better with a oolong called Steeped hill or a Yerba with turmeric that becomes bright yellow for the yellowbellies of Lincoln, not some spicy tea. Something a little floral, a little subtle and sipping worthy."
"Had to get this tea being from the Lincoln area and growing up searching for the imp (before they added the cheat option) every time we were in the Cathedral. Not disappointed! The taste of the tea is lovely and that little bit of extra heat is perfect!"
"Not usually a fan of black teas, but this one is amazing! The chilli kick makes it a lovely warming comfort tea for after a long day at work x"
"Delicious black tea with a subtle hint of chilli. I'm knocking off one star because I would have preferred a slightly stronger chilli kick but overall very enjoyable!"
"I love that Lincoln has a tea at B&B! Everyone has enjoyed this brew so far, lovely."
"Imagine putting chili powder in hot water, that's what this tea tastes like. First, you're hit with absolutely no flavor. Then, you're hit with a spiciness that probably would be pleasant if there was some kind of taste."
"Great black tea with just the right amount of kick"
"This tea has just enough of the tang that those Imps sweets in a tin had when I was a kid. Tasty!"
