A firm favourite
"A lovely creamy lightly spiced brew to start the day- or with brunch- or lunch or dinner! I like it with oat milk which tempers the spice nicely. I find it needs a longer brew- around ten minutes or more- for a really full flavour. This quickly became a firm favourite for me and a nice savoury cup made a change from the usual sweeter brews I like!"
"Really tasty and I can reuae the same leaves up to 3 times and it still tastes the same!"
Delicious
"Packs a little punch, but still a very relaxing tea!"
Yummy!
"Delicious and sweet! Such a lovely blend!"
Spicy
"This can become quite spicy if brewed for s while because of the chilli, but it's really nice and tasty"
Relaxing brew
"Incredible evening tea if you’re someone who isn’t sensitive to caffeine later in the day. Warming and comfortingly spiced, an all round incredible gift I received from my friend. The tea says it doesn’t require any milk but I have found that it’s still quite nice with a dash of oat milk."
Tastes as good as it smells!!
"So yummy! Both as cold brew and as hot tea!!"
Bit hotter than previous batch
"I really liked this previously but this time it seems to pack more of a punch on the chilli front. I've kept with it to see if it varies with how I make it but it's the same each time. Unfortunately, I'm just not enjoying it as much as I used to."
What do they put in the tea ?
"Milk Oolong Chai was an exceptional surprise for me. Strange becauce I like Chai and I like Oolong, but they did not sound like they would marry well. How wrong was I! Its incredible depth and spice will make you travel. It has a warming effect and I found it particularly interesting as a post-meal beverage. It is even better the more frequent you steep it, making it a teapot favourite. If you have not tried it you are missing out."
Q&A
- Hello does this tea have caffeine? Thank you. Jo
- Hi Jo, Thanks for your question and apologies for our slow reply - this tea is an oolong tea, so does contain caffeine :) I hope this helps and do let us know if you have any other questions! George @ B&B
- Hi, how do you prepare the tea with coconut milk, so that it tastes as served cold in the Byres road shop in Glasgow?
- Hi Karim, thanks so much for asking your question! I don't have a precise recipe, as often the stores like to experiment, but do check out our recipe page as I think it'd be along the lines of the Eton Mess recipe here: https://www.birdandblendtea.com/blogs/recipes/easy-cold-brew-tea-recipes Happy Sipping! Ian @ B&B
- Sorry to ask a daft question what does resteep mean?
- Not a daft question at all, Stephanie! Resteeping means to use the same leaves to brew up a cuppa again!! Don't need to do anything special, just add fresh 80 degree water back in and you get another wonderful cup of tea from it again :) Please let me know if you have any other questions, Eve @ BB
- Please will you bring this out as part of your permanent collection?!
- Tehehe!!! Sadly we can't make every single one of our beauTEAful blends permeate or we would run out of room on our tea wall!! This blend is here for a little while longer so stock up whilst you can. Happy sipping, Vic @ BB
