    Black tea | Medium caffeine

    Inspired by the ancient classic Russian caravan tea that got its smoky flavour from the old tea trade routes, and the caravans evening campfires along them.

    This is a pinewood smoked Lapsang Souchong black tea. Blended with Formosa Oolong sourced from Taiwan & Mao Feng Keemun sourced from China.

    How to make a hot tea

    • perfect loose leaf tea spoon

      Step 1

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Step 2

      Boil water to 100°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 2-4 mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      With or without milk

    How to cold brew tea

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    Ultimate relaxation in a cup!

    Amazing flavour, wife purchased a sample pack for me. I smelt this one and was a little hesitant but boy am I glad I tasted it, absolutely amazing flavour and I have finally found a tea that is truely relaxing! Coupled together with easy ordering and great service Bird & Blend should be everyone’s cup of tea.

    Addictive

    Grown up first thing in the morning ease into the day tea. Not bitter, or overwhelmingly smoky. Don’t be put off if you’ve only ever tried other lapsang souchong teas. Will repeat purchase so long as it continues to be made.
