"I was hesitant to try this flavour as it wasn't immediately obvious what the flavour was! However, after trying a matcha latte in the York store, it has become my new favourite flavour. It is fruity and floral but not too sweet. I hope that this flavour becomes a permanent fixture."

"I tried Emerald matcha hoping it would be similar to my beloved, but unobtainable, Swampthing matcha. I found it similar and perhaps even better. Please can I beg B&B to put one of those in the permanent selection or maybe alternate between them."

An unexpected favourite!

"I tried this matcha in store and was positively surprised by the flavour! From the ingredients I found it kinda hard to tell what it will taste like but it's such a lovely combination of flavours, quite floral, botanical because of the lavender but not overpowering at all. I bought the pouch after trying it and really hope it will be rebranded into a permanent product, I would definitely repurchase."

Swampthing's beautiful fresh cousin. . . Delicious

"I absolutely adore this Matcha. . . It reminds me quite a lot of Swampthing, but a little fruitier and fresher in flavour. . . . I loved it made with hot water, as a latte and as a cold brew with lemonade. . . Absolutely delicious in all three versions . . I'm so sad that it's not going to be around for much longer as Wicked's Elphaba. . . So Please can it be "rebranded" and back on sale for us fans. 🙏:hands_heart:"

So disappointing

"The problems start with the packet - it is so tiny, and every time it’s opened the matcha power puffs out! Getting the spoon into the tiny, dolls house sized packet is next on the list of problems. It’s virtually impossible to get half a teaspoon out without making some mess because the opening of the packet is no more than a couple of inches wide, and the seal is practically the same size as the opening. Given the flavours that are advertised as being in this matcha, I had high hopes for a really lovely soothing and unique taste. Unfortunately it tastes just like a basic lemon green tea. It’s so disappointing that something so overpriced does not deliver. Save your money and get a good quality matcha from your grocery store."

"I usually find Matcha tea too bitter but this tea is balanced by the other ingredients including the lavender. I’ve been drinking it hot with coconut milk and that works really well. Thanks Bird and Blend - l now have a mid-afternoon treat that helps my energy levels at that time of day!"

Incredible!

"I’ve never liked matcha really, always found it really bitter. But, I love Wicked and had some birthday money, so I took a gamble. Boy, am I glad I did! I’m all in on matcha now! This one is delicious! It’s slightly tingly in your tongue, super calming from the lavender with a bit of sweetness from the moringa! I LOVE it! Plus, it makes me feel like some incredible hearth witch who’s just foraged loads of glorious herbs."

"This is such a wonderful flavour, sort of floral and herby. The lavender isnt perfum-y or overpowering and the nettle just really brings out the matcha for me. I feel like this is an almost “enhanced” matcha flavour and it all goes together so well. I hope this flavour stays!!"
