    Our HQ, The Nest, is based in the lovely Worthing. Situated in West Sussex at the base of the South Downs, we dream up all manner of fantastical blends!

    So we thought, we need something magical, something unique & nostalgic - and what could be better than a Werthers Original? Creamy, dreamy & delicious, this caramelly rooibos blend is naturally caffeine free & bursting with flavour.

    How to make a hot tea

    • perfect loose leaf tea spoon

      Step 1

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Step 2

      Boil water to 100°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 4+ mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      With or without milk

    How to cold brew tea

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    Pretty darn close

    It's been a few years since I've had one of the sweets this is based on but I do remember the buttery sweetness of it and this comes surprisingly close. Rooibos tea and I don't often get on because I find that the taste of it can overpower whatever other flavour is involved but with this one it kind of works and compliments the buttery flavour which really blooms in the aftertaste. I added a bit of sugar and a dash of oat milk just because I felt it would benefit from some creaminess and it was really lovely.
