Looking for a sweet treat this Spring? Combine nutty pistachio goodness with creamy notes of vanilla ice cream in this twist on a classic. Affogato, meet Matcha-gato!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 1 Perfect Matcha Spoon of Pistachio Gelato Matcha or choose another matcha of your choice.
- 50ml 80°C water (This is to avoid burning the matcha & giving a bitter taste. If in doubt, add a splash of cold before the hot!)
- A scoop of vanilla ice cream
- Chopped pistachios
- Chocolate sauce
WHAT TO DO:
- Put 1 Perfect Matcha Spoon of Pistachio Gelato Matcha into a small bowl or cup.
- Add 50ml of 80°C water. Use a Bamboo Matcha Whisk or Milk Frother to whisk the Pistachio Gelato Matcha vigorously in a 'W' motion until it is completely smooth.
- Place a scoop (or two if you fancy!) of vanilla ice cream into a small serving glass or bowl.
- Pour the matcha shot directly over the ice cream.
- Sprinkle with chopped pistachios for added texture & then drizzle over some chocolate sauce.
- Enjoy!
Pro tip: Use the Matcha Latte Magic Whisk to make a latte & pour it over the scoop of ice cream, then add your garnishes. Voila!
