    How to make matcha 4 ways

    How to make a hot matcha

    • Step 1

      1/2 tsp

    • matcha temperature

      Step 2

      Add splash of 80° water

    • bamboo matcha whisking step

      Step 3

      Whisk in a 'W' shape until frothy

      Top up with hot water or milk

    How to make an iced matcha

    • Step 1

      1/2 tsp

    • matcha temperature

      Step 2

      Add splash of 80° water

      Pour on top of ice with water, lemonade or milk

    Lovely, warming and moreish.

    I hadn't tried matcha before, so wasn't sure what to expect, but I was really impressed with this blend. The tea itself was light, frothy and refreshing, with warm notes of caramel underlying it, but the caramel levels were not overpowering. I haven't tried the cold version of the drink yet, but I will do. Really enjoyed it and will be trying some of the other matcha blends on offer.

    Really yummy, gentle sweet flavour.

    Tried with almond milk and tasted lovely and sweet, the almond milk made it feel like a Christmas treat,

    Excited to try with coconut milk next which is my favourite for matchas.
