    How to make a hot matcha

    • matcha spoon

      Step 1

      1/2 tsp

    • mature 80 degree water temperature

      Step 2

      Add splash of 80° water

    • matcha bamboo whisk

      Step 3

      Whisk in a 'W' shape until frothy

      Step 4

      Top up with hot water or milk

    How to make iced matcha

    • matcha spoon

      Step 1

      1/2 tsp

    • mature 80 degree water temperature

      Step 2

      Add splash of 80° water

    • matcha bamboo whisk

      Step 3

      Whisk in a 'W' shape until frothy

    • iced matcha tea

      Step 4

      Pour on top of ice with water, lemonade or milk

    Tea Mixologist Top Tip

    Enoy this hot & top up with frothy oat milk. Add a dash of vanilla syrup for some extra sweetness!

    Not For Me

    I love the Bird and Blend Matcha and have been working through a selection box. Thought I'd love this one, but I didn't at all. It tasted more like old tea bags than salted caramel. It also looked very unappetising too, a browny colour rather than light green. I think this is a good one if you don't like matcha at all as it conceals the taste a lot and doesn't even look like matcha, but it wasn't for me.
